Welcome

“Instructors provide the tools for success for children and teenagers to grow up to be respectful responsible adults.” – Master Kim

How to get started

Jae Kim’s Martial Arts is the premiere Jump Kickdojang (道場) or “school” for Taekwondo and Hapkido in Tucson Arizona.  Grandmaster Kim would like to extend to you an invitation to come and study these Korean art forms with us.  We are located in Northwest Tucson but serve all of Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley and beyond.

Our modest facility has a waiting area that is actually part of the dojang so as to welcome visitors and family to actively watch their students, perhaps giving them a personal involvement with the student. Our classes are geared for kids, adults, and families.

TaeKwonDo is also great for kids as an outlet for them to burn off excess energy, develop good fitness practices, work on self control and self discipline, and to develop a sense of good self worth.

Jae_Kims_Logo Families…

Many families currently workout together here at Jae Kim’s Martial Arts.  We encourage families to participate as well, as it is always good for kids to have their parents involved with them in their interests and activities.  This forms a bond that will last a lifetime, sets an example for your children, plus… you get to get into shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle as well.

Jae_Kims_Logo Adults…

In addition to the kids and family classes we also offer adult oriented classes that are geared more toward the focused individuals intent on getting the most out of their training.  Which ever class you choose, the benefits of TaeKwonDo will be evident and the results will make you feel extraordinary.

Our flames burn for the same purpose. ... See MoreSee Less

Never try to blow out someone else's candle in order to make your candle seem brighter. In today's society, many people seem to think that the only way to improve themselves is to try to knock someone else down. What they don't seem to understand is that this doesn't improve their life at all; and it usually ends up backfiring on them. If you blow out someone else's candle, it doesn't make your candle burn any brighter, but it does give you less light. Instead of trying to compete with others, and tearing them down to make yourself seem better, why not just focus on making yourself better to start with. If people would focus as much energy on bettering themselves, as they do on competing with others or tearing other people down, they would be much better off. In fact, you would see big improvements across the board. But most people don't. Instead of focusing on making themselves better, most people seem content to try to bring others down to their level. Focus on improving yourself, not on competing with others or bringing other people down. Make constant, never-ending improvement your daily goal.
